M egan loves to help the ladies at the California Institution for Women in Corona, California, get in touch with their inner actors. She is also an official ambassador for planet.ECO (http://planetdoteco.com) an organization connecting people, communities and other organizations to work collaboratively to advance the sustainability of the planet.
Megan is also very active with the non-profit Blessings in a Backpack. (http://www.blessingsinabackpack.org) Through this organization Megan has helped shed light on the issue of child hunger in the US. Showcasing that many students have their last meal at school on Friday and are left hungry through the weekend until classes begin Monday morning. Every month Megan goes to an elementary school in south central LA and bags lunches with parent volunteers. These bags are then distributed to over 1,000 students before school lets out on Friday. Many of the students would not eat over the weekend without this organization.
